What are the positions in football?

Answered By Hadyn Falk, Editor

There are two types of position, an offensive position and a defensive position. In an offensive position one of the mainly essential positions is the “quarterback”. The security protectors of the quarterbacks are the “offensive line”. As an additional protection or the running to the ball position is the “running back and fullback” this position are located in the backfield at the back the quarterback. The last position is the “wide receiver” this position has the main objective that is to receive the ball that has been thrown by the quarterback for a field goal.

The defensive position are the following, the defensive ends, linebackers, corner backs and safeties who has the last thing to say about defense. Safeties are located at the back while the defensive ends are the front man.
